My Tropical Aquarium

This section of the site looks a bit drab at the moment as it hasn't got any pictures, as soon as I can get my hands on a digital camera I will update it!

Currently my main tank is a 48"x15"x12" rectangular tank, using an under gravel filter as the main filtration device.  this seems to work quite well, but I have also got a carbon filter on one of the uplift tubes.  It is well planted with a wide variety of different species as well as some cunningly disguised plastic plants as well.

As for the fish in it.  I've got 4 Neon Tetra's, 2 Flame Tetra's, a pair of Clown Loaches, 12 Marbled Mollies (they've been breeding again), 2 Green Tiger Barbs and a Chinese Algae eater to keep the algae levels down.  They all seem to get on with each other quite well, with the exception of the green tiger barbs, sometimes they tend to be aggressive towards each other but luckily not the other fish.  The Mollies are producing quite a few offspring of late.  I keep these in a small 11"x8"x8" tank with container filter until they are large enough to fend for themselves in the main tank.

As soon as I've got the camera I'll add some pics to this bit!
